Big Yay! Jazzfest time is soon approaching. Notable headliners this year: David Byrne, Widespread Panic, Burning Spear, Herbie Hancock, Earth Wind & Fire and the Isley Brothers. Admittedly, I’m leaving out some headliners that are questionable (at best) with regard to the “jazz” element. Guess they gotta sell tickets somehow, right? Also of note on the bill: Lettuce, Ron Carter, Monty Alexander and Cory Henry. Looks overall to be a great festival once again. Hope the weather cooperates!
