Just a shout out to all those musicians out there enjoying the freedom to create, write & produce music. If it weren’t for some pretty ballsy peeps about 250 years ago (and quite a few more during the next 175 years after that) well…things might have turned out a little differently. In a different timeline, we may have looked back at a heritage of Broadside Ballads while playing Polka music with an electric Shamisen. Of course, freedom is never free. So tip the cup back to all those men and women lost in the shuffle of battle, who sacrificed for us–so that we could, among other things, have the freedom to enjoy making music, listen to music and play whichever musical instrument we choose. Celebrate the freedom that we all cherish! Have a happy and safe 4th of July this year!
