Prog-rock guitar fans, this is one you don’t want to miss.  Rod Morgenstein, Andy West, Allen Sloan, Steve Davidowski and Steve Morse (aka the original “Dixie Dregs”) will be reuniting for the first time since their inception in 1975.  Wait–1975???  Yep, that’s well over 40 years ago!  Just how old are these guys?

Better question–does it matter?  I’ve seen Steve a few times over the years and he is always ready to shred.  I imagine that his band-mates are equally excited to once again share their trademark southern blend of progressive, driving technical guitar rock.  Bring your abacus–there’s going to be a lot of notes happening!

Lucky for us Colorado folks, the Dregs will be performing at The Boulder Theater on April 14th.  If they decide to come to your neighborhood, get your tickets asap–these shows will sell out!
